The New MacBook Can Be Very Exciting, Or Perhaps not?

We all wait for that perfect MacBook, and if the predictions are accurate, Apple is about to announce new models. Will this be the one we all be waiting for?
The past few months, we got bombarded with a lot of predictions about the new MacBook line. Nothing new when it comes to forecasts and tech leach.
Predictions evolve to a whole new thing on their own, telling us what’s coming and how the new devices will look before the release itself.
I’ve written a whole article about why we should pay less attention to these predictions and focus on the current models, analyze them, and be very content with them.
But since we can’t ignore them whatsoever, let me say something about this new MacBook line that Apple is about the release.
Most likely, they will not be that excited as people are hoping to be.
As you may know, most of us tech geeks are just dying to see a new MacBook with thinner bezels, RAM that’s higher than the current 16GB, more ports (and with more, I mean an SD slot, an HDMI port, and maybe just maybe a USB A port).
And ooh, that touch bar has to go immediately. Or perhaps not? I kind of like it, but let’s discuss that in another article.
According to the predictions, we should also get larger displays
Those displays should be bigger. That’s the one thing I hope to see in the new MacBook line. I mean, bigger is always better, right?
No, but seriously, choosing between 14 and 16-inch displays is so much straightforward than choosing between 13 and 16 inches. I mean, the gap between 13 and 16 is way more significant than between 14 and 16 inches, which means that the choice will be much easier for most of us.
And I speak from experience. I’ve owned the 16, and 13 inch MacBook Pro and both fell short in their way. The 16 inch MacBook pro is a bit too big for carrying around, and the 13-inch model is just too small for doing multitasking.
So if there is one size that’s just perfect for both worlds, I would say the 14-inch model. That’s the size I would go for in case the predictions are accurate.
But there is more
Besides getting bigger screens (hopefully), we should also get a new design. And with a new design, I mean an angular flat shape. You can think of the new iPhone and iPad designs, which in my opinion, are pretty nice.
What about the inside? Well, that should be powered up with a more powerful M-chip. We all know how good the M1 chip was, so the next one should be more promising.
As for the name of this new chip, there is a dispute between the M1X and the M2 chip. But to be honest, I don’t care as long as it’s more potent than the previous one.
To what extend will we be satisfied?
So there is a lot to come. But my question is: how many of these improvements should be implemented in the new MacBooks to be satisfied?
How many of these improvements should be implemented in the new MacBooks to be satisfied?
I would say give us the 14-Inch MacBooks, get rid of the 13-inch models, and stuff it with a more powerful M-chip.
I’m sure I will get a lot of comments for this one, but I don’t feel much for having a device with multiple ports. USB-C is enough for a lot of things. Besides, plugging a monitor with HDMI starts to get old fashion.
