The JBL Go 2 Review

The first thing that’s noticeable about the JBL GO 2 is its size. You get this small device that you can carry out with you and the best part, it amplifies your audio in a good way. Even the material that this speaker is made from feels very sturdy and qualitative.

The Good
- The JBL GO is small and portable
- It feels sturdy and well designed.
- It’s water resistant!
What needs to be improved
- The Battery life is okay
- The sound outdoors is not that great
The Battery of the JBL GO 2
What about the battery life? I mean, since this speaker is made for people who are on the GO (even its name has the word GO in it) you may expect some long-lasting battery life. And to be honest, its battery life is just fine. With 5 hours of battery life, you can take it with you to the outside world. And even if you’ve forgotten to charge it the night before, you can connect it to your phone with an AUX cable. Luckily, this speaker has a built-in microphone jack.
Is the JBL GO water-resistant?
You may be thinking about taking this JBL GO to the beach. Well, in that case, I’ve some good news for you. This speaker can withstand a splash of water. As a matter of fact, you can completely immerse it in water.
What about its sound outdoors?
But we need to be more realistic when we talk about this speaker. Yes, it amplifies your sound in a good way, but that’s only if you’re indoors. If you, for example, take this speaker with you to the beach or to a noisy place, then it might lack volume. But that’s not surprising from a speaker that’s around $35 on Amazon.
