There are several ways to get that Apple Watch paired to your iPhone eventually, and that’s what we will discuss in this article.
So let’s dive right in.
The Steps To Pair your Apple Watch to your iPhone
First of all, let me walk you through the steps you need to go through every time you pair an Apple Watch to your iPhone.
The very first thing you need to do is to turn your Apple watch display on. Gently press the button on the right side of your Apple Watch and keep pressing until you see the Apple logo. Keep the iPhone next to your watch while doing so.
Then, make sure both the WiFi and Bluetooth are turned on on both devices. It’s essential here to pair both the Apple Watch and iPhone to the same WiFi network.
At this point, your iPhone should show a prompt displaying your Apple Watch.
You can also launch the Watch app that is already installed on your iPhone. If you can’t find this app, you can download it on the App Store.
Hit Continue on the prompt and start pairing the Apple Watch. Two options will be shown:
- Setting up the Apple Watch for yourself
- Or for a family member
Click on the first one.
Your Apple Watch will start to display an animation. Keep this animation underneath your iPhone’s camera and tap on Set Up Apple Watch.
Setup Your Wrist Preference
Then you can set up your wrist preference. This can be your right hand or left hand. Chose the wrist that’s most convenient for you.
Your iPhone Will Get Connected To Your Apple Watch
From here, your iPhone will get connected to your Apple Watch. It usually takes a couple of minutes to do so.
After a couple of seconds, you get the terms and agreements section. If preferable, read through this section and hit agree to continue.
After this part, you get some suggestions like enabling to track your route outside, sharing usage data with Apple, and some more settings like enabling bold text and creating a password for security purposes.
Walkthrough all these steps and hit continue.
