- Open your Settings App on your Home screen.

- Tap on Change Password in blue.
- Enter now your passcode that you use for unlocking your iPhone

- Change your password by inserting your new password twice.

How to Reset Your Apple ID Password on Your iPhone
The easiest way to reset your Apple ID password is with your iPhone. This method is also my favorite one since you don’t need any external device.
There are only two necessary things you need to have to be able to reset your password with your iPhone. The first one is that your iPhone needs to be already signed to the iCloud associated with the Apple ID whose password you’re about to reset. And the second is that your iPhone should already have a code to lock and unlock it. If you don’t have this last one, just make it before starting with this method. To reset your Apple ID Password on your iPhone you need to:
- Open your Settings app on your Home screen.
- Tap on your Apple ID account, which is right at the top.
- Then tap on Password & Security.
- Tap on Change Password in blue.



- Enter now your passcode that you use for unlocking your iPhone and tap on Done.
- Change your password by inserting your new password twice.
- Tap on Change on the top right corner of your screen.
- If you’re signed in on other devices with your Apple ID, the system will notify you to choose between two options: to sign out on these devices or stay signed in. The choice is up to you.


How to Reset Your Apple ID Password on Your Mac
You might not have your iPhone on you but still want to reset your Apple ID to change your password. In that case, you can use the internet to solve this problem—preferably on a laptop or desktop.
- First go to appleid.apple.com, and click on Forgot Apple ID or Password?.

- Enter your Apple ID address and click on Continue.

- Enter your phone number to confirm that you’re the owner of this Apple ID.

- A notification will be sent to your device (Your Mac, iPad, or iPhone) to reset your Apple ID Password.
- Tap Allow and proceed with the further instructions on your iPhone or Mac.
- If you don’t have access to any of these devices, click on the link at the bottom of the page.
